I’m really proud to have been associated with a shortlisting at the recent CIPR PRide awards at the Newcastle Gateshead Hilton. I was part of the communications team that worked on behalf of Northern Gas Networks when Rothbury lost it’s gas supply for five days in February. Despite winter blizzards, a loss of electricity and at one stage water too, the people of Rothbury rallied around to help the gas team without complaint. It was without doubt, the most challenging piece of PR work I have done but also the most rewarding.
