One of the nice things about being “in PR” is that sometimes you meet people that have achieved great things in their life. This week I met Bob Moncur, the last Newcastle United skipper to lift “real” silverware for the club. As well as being a sporting legend, Bob has of course won the biggest game – his fight against Cancer.
I met him when he was helping to promote the work of Gateshead Warm Zone who are doing wonderful things keeping the people of Tyneside warm. Anyone who lives in Tyneside or Northumberland must contact them to see what can be done ( in most cases free of charge) to insulate their home against the cold.
