Jonathan Wallis is expanding its trusted property services with the launch of a dedicated estate agency, bringing together decades of surveying expertise with experienced residential sales and lettings professionals to offer clients a comprehensive property service across Teesdale and the surrounding area.
The new venture is set to officially launch in early September and will operate from the firm’s established offices at The Bank, Barnard Castle, where the business has built a strong reputation for providing independent, professional advice.
As part of the expansion, the company is also recruiting a Sales and Lettings Negotiator to join its growing team. The new appointment will play a key role in the launch and ongoing success of the estate agency, supporting clients throughout the buying and selling and letting process while delivering the firm’s commitment to outstanding personal service.
Victoria Hartley, Chartered Surveyor at Jonathan Wallis, said the move is a natural progression for the business.

Victoria joined Jonathan Wallis three years ago, having previously worked alongside Jonathan and having a background in residential agency. While she supports the firm’s professional surveying services, her background in estate agency has helped shape the new business alongside colleague Joanna Herbert, who also brings nine years of residential estate agency experience.
Joanna said Barnard Castle is the ideal location for the new service.
“Barnard Castle is a fantastic property market because it’s incredibly varied. We have everything from new-build developments and Victorian terraces to listed cottages, converted mills and commercial farms.
