North Tyneside Business Forum Calls for Volunteers to Join Management Group and Shape the Local Business Landscape

The North Tyneside Business Forum, a business led organisation dedicated to supporting and promoting local businesses, is looking for people with a business in the Borough to join its management group. This voluntary role offers a unique opportunity for North Tyneside based businesses large and small to contribute to the strategic direction of the Forum and provide invaluable advice and experience to fellow members.

With support from North Tyneside Council, the North Tyneside Business Forum helps create a vibrant and prosperous business community in the Borough which helps to facilitate growth, innovation, and success for businesses of all sizes and sectors.

The volunteers who run the management group plays a pivotal role in shaping the Forum’s strategy and initiatives. People who join the team will have the chance to make a tangible impact on the local business landscape. By sharing their expertise, knowledge, and experiences, they will provide invaluable guidance to fellow members and contribute to the overall growth and development of the Forum.

“The North Tyneside Business Forum is built upon the principles of collaboration, knowledge-sharing, and support,” said David Hodgson who owns Read Milburn Accountancy in North Shields.

“We are looking to our existing membership to help us play a vital role in providing strategic direction, advice, and mentorship to our members, enabling businesses in North Tyneside to thrive and succeed.

“It’s not just about large businesses either, most of our members are small to medium enterprises and their input is incredibly valuable. People who have their own small business have a wealth of knowledge and experience and that is what we need to help others succeed.”

Volunteers for the management group can be from any business of any size within North Tyneside and would contribute their thoughts on topics such as strategic planning, business development and growth strategies, marketing, and relationship building.

“These voluntary roles offer a unique opportunity for people to expand their networks, contribute to the local community, and enhance their leadership skills. Moreover, it provides a platform for individuals to give back to the business community by offering their time, advice, and experience,” added David.
