A spine-tingling evening of paranormal intrigue and mediumship is set to take place later this month as supporters come together to raise funds for Northumberland Haunted Museum.
The special fundraising event will be held at Pegswood Social Club on Wednesday, 29 July, starting at 7.30pm, and will feature an evening packed with fascinating talks, ghostly tales and an opportunity for audience members to experience an evidential mediumship demonstration.
The headline attraction is respected evidential medium James Leighton, who will be connecting with loved ones in spirit, offering messages, evidence and comfort to those in the audience throughout the evening.
Joining him will be members of the new Amble based Northumberland Haunted Museum team, who will give an insight into the museum, its growing collection and the stories behind some of its most intriguing exhibits.
Visitors will also hear from the Northumberland Ghost Busters Investigation Team, who will share details of their paranormal investigations, explain some of the techniques used during ghost hunts and recount some of their most memorable experiences.
Hosting the evening will be Keith Newman, presenter at Radio Northumberland and host of the popular Phantom Frequencies UK podcast, who will guide the audience through an entertaining and thought-provoking programme.
James Leighton said: “I’m looking forward to returning to connect with loved ones once more. Every demonstration is unique, and it’s always a privilege to bring forward evidence and messages from those in the spirit world. I hope people leave the evening feeling uplifted, comforted and with plenty to think about, while also supporting a fantastic local museum.”
The event is being organised to raise funds for Northumberland Haunted Museum, helping it continue preserving and sharing the region’s rich supernatural history and folklore.
Tickets are priced at £15 and are available from Pegswood Social Club and Northumberland Haunted Museum in Amble. Organisers recommend booking early as demand is expected to be high.
