A Gateshead based business organisation is about to celebrate passing 20,000 work referrals between its members and they are inviting the wider North East business community to share in their success.
Members of the Tyne Bridge chapter of Business Networking International (BNI) meet every Wednesday at the Rivers Hotel in Felling to learn about each other’s business and to support them by helping to pass qualified referrals to others wanting the services of the group.
Since its formation 10 years ago, just under 20,000 referrals have been passed leading to work totalling almost £8.5m.
Chapter President, Marc Millar who is a Financial Advisor, is inviting local businesses and trades to visit the chapter to see how their business can benefit.
“The way we work is simple, by helping others to find business, we find that they will want to return the favour by looking for business for us when an opportunity arises. This is how we have passed referrals amounting to a staggering £8.5m which has had a major impact on the success of our group and the individual businesses within it.
“We are very close to passing our 20,000th referral and I’d like to invite businesses in the region to get in touch so that they can arrange a visit to our group or one of the others in the Tyneside, Wearside and Northumberland areas.”
