The highly anticipated Gallagher Park Live Festival is returning to Bedlington for its fifth consecutive year, and organisers have announced the headlining act that is sure to captivate audiences of all ages. Taking centre stage on Saturday, July 22, will be Dream On, the UK’s premier Aerosmith tribute band, treating festival-goers to an unforgettable performance.

It’s the fifth time in recent years that the major festival has taken place and the Gallagher Park Live Festival on Saturday July 22 once again looks set to appeal to all ages and members of the family.

The Gallagher Park Live Festival has become a staple event in recent years, drawing thousands of attendees and featuring acclaimed artists such as Dodgy, Matt Cardle, The Commitments, and Johnny Hates Jazz. However, this year, the festival aims to shine the spotlight on exceptional local and regional talent, ensuring that live music remains vibrant in the North East.

Headlining will be the UK’s premier Aerosmith tribute band Dream On who will be performing hits such as Love in an Elevator, Dude, and the iconic power ballad, I Don’t Want to Miss a Thing and they will undoubtedly deliver a show that pays homage to the legendary American rock band.

In addition to Dream On, Gallagher Park Live Festival will showcase an array of tribute acts and original performers. T Rox and The Straits UK will pay tribute to T Rex and Dire Straits respectively, while Club 80 Live will transport audiences back to the nostalgic era of the 1980s with their synthesizers and iconic fashion. The West Coast Band will bring a touch of Americana to the stage, and Growing Robots and the Andy Rayner Band will contribute their unique sets. The festival will also feature a captivating solo performance by Michael T Ogilvie.

The event is made possible once again through the generous funding provided by East Bedlington Parish Council, along with contributions from Choppington Parish Council. Chairman Keith Grimes of East Bedlington Parish Council expressed his delight at the council’s commitment to organising this exceptional free event for the community.

“I am delighted that the council have, yet again, committed to providing this excellent free event for Bedlington and the wider community. We have a fabulous line up of bands this year, as well as a family funfair, food vendors and activities for the little ones. Come down and support us, and remember admission is free.”
